Antón Castillo came to power on the island of Yara on a promise to restore their nation to its former greatness, and he wants to impose his own vision of paradise at all costs. While his 13-year-old son Diego reluctantly follows his father’s bloody path, Antón holds Yara’s future firmly in his hands.
Located in the heart of the Caribbean, Yara is a tropical paradise frozen in time. Decades of economic sanctions have devastated the nation, which is now impoverished and divided. While some of Yara’s inhabitants follow Antón blindly, others are captivated by the promise of a new paradise. Faced with the dictator’s increasingly brutal methods, the people revolted and insurrection spread across the country.
In Far Cry® 6, players find themselves at the heart of a modern guerrilla war, in a world in chaos. Play as Dani Rojas and oppose Antón’s regime in intense combat in the lush jungle and ruined towns of Yara. To take on Castillo’s military forces, you’ll need to adopt the local mindset and make what you need from what you’ve got. Use a unique arsenal of new vehicles, weapons and animal companions, each more surprising than the last, to lead a revolution that will reduce Antón’s tyrannical regime to ashes.
